The works in my collection are inspiring to me.  Some of them in more ways than one...  For example, lately I've been preparing a new exhibit that combines my graphic design work with painting.  During this "Art of the Nude" exhibition, I kept looking at the tiny drawing on paper in my collection by T. Moore and kept wishing it was larger...  I also wished it were a painting.  So, as I was hanging up the paintings in the gallery for this exhibition, I let that tiny drawing on paper inspire me to go back into the studio and create a much larger oil painting (on canvas) in my own style that combined drawing, painting, and graphic design. My completed "Graphic Design Painting" is now on exhibit with the tiny drawing in the American in Paris Gallery.  I accomplished my goal of creating an oil on canvas in my own style and spirit.  I kept the integrity of T. Moore's original drawing, but I also wanted to create a work of of art that was completely fresh and new that was my own with lots of vitality and color!  That's why I created a new large oil painting with pure orange to celebrate the beauty of "youth".
