For years wealthy collectors have wondered why I kept refusing to sell paintings from my American in Paris collection inspired from my life and time in Paris. There are some things in life that are just worth much more to me than money.  I have a higher purpose than just being a successful seller of paintings. For me it is not really about my art per se; rather it is about how I use this collection to inspire others.

I learned long ago that true wealth is not what you have; it's what you GIVE! 

 

Likewise, my American in Paris collection is also my own unique way of leaving an artistic legacy. So I never sold these paintings from this collection to wealthy art collectors because, in my artist mind, this collection never belonged to me. The American in Paris collection is intended as my personal gift of art for everyone!
