"Les Evades" 

During one of my trips to Paris I saw a postcard, and it referenced the gallery in Paris where this painting by Kanas was being exhibited.  It immediately reminded me of Michelangelo but done in an exaggerated style, almost like a serious illustrator creating an oil painting in the style of comic books.  By the end of the day, I was so happy that I had both the Kanas postcard and the original oil painting of "Les Evades" in my arms.  This painting from Paris continues to inspire me and to be one of my favorites in my collection.
