Having spent my early years as an "American in Paris" has greatly influenced my work and my style of art.  I became an artist after my time in France. However, since I also work in graphic design, here I combine the concept of graphic design with oil paint on canvas.  Notice the graphic nature of this painting in Red, White and Blue. The American and French colors serve as a backdrop for the nude.  The nude in the center functions as a sort of  "nude emblem" in the national colors of American and French flags.  It is my graphic design in oil.  I love that this work combines graphic design with painting.  "The Nude in Red White & Blue" is my own personal graphic representation of my style of French art. In other words, this is literally my personal  "American in Paris" painting!
