As we conclude the exhibition I am including this painting to close out the show because this is an important work for me.... I created it during a difficult and challenging time when I was going through a professional  and personal transition in my life.  We all have those moments where we have to "make a change".   I had this on my mind for months so it's no surprise that I had a powerful dream about it one night.  It was a dream about life, but it was represented as a machine.  I was the machine.  I was producing life in many forms.  People would come to me at the end of their lives.  I was both a machine and the master.  I gave them a choice, stay as you are and suffer or come with me and I will renew your life in another form.  As a machine I was in constant motion cranking out new lives.  The machine was the process of divine creation.  This is the painting that came out of me representing the concept of "metamorphosis".
