Here we have a drawing on canvas in preparation for the first painting inspired by the city of Paris.  Instead of copying the original photograph, this preliminary work was taken from my own photograph and focuses on the abstraction on the lower third of the canvas.  Now let's see how the abstraction inspired me to turn this into a painting.
