While in Firenze, I walked into an antique shop looking for a goodbye gift for a friend. She's also a painter and a great artist.  I bought her a ceramic with two lovebirds.  It was the perfect gift to say goodbye.  Then I saw a teacup and decided that I deserved to buy myself a gift too.  So I saw a little green teacup. I thought it would be great to paint.  I loved that the spout looked like a little dragon so I painted it that way.   I also bought a little ceramic soldier.  So this is my tribute to my time in Firenze.
