Breakfast is the first meal of day so it is the appropriate that we begin with eggs for breakfast before moving on to lunch, dinner, and finally dessert.   Paris has been a great influence in my art and in my life.  This egg breakfast was inspired by the simple elegance of a French breakfast you would be served in Paris.  Before we begin a journey around the globe and my favorite cuisines, I would like to mention the  American In Paris gallery because it will be serving as the Zermeno Museum exhibition space dedicated to The Art of Cuisine.

 

Each cultural cuisine I've chosen from the around the globe holds a special place in my heart for it's own special reasons.  However, because I grew up in the Arizona dessert near the Mexican border, I am choosing to begin with my love for Mexican cuisine to open the show of my journey into the culinary arts.
