This Fauvist work of art was created in my atelier (art studio).  I love wearing my French hats in Paris. As I was painting in my studio I was listening to Edith Piaf singing "Padam, Padam".  Listening to Piaf always inspires me!  I was feeling nostalgic for my early years in Paris... I suppose that's why this French Fauvist work of art came out of me in a creative burst of unapologetic color!  As an American in Paris artist, my mind is always in Paris...  Most recently, however it is now on "Firenze."  The influence of the Italian masters is also changing the way I create paint leading to a new style of art.
