Every artist studio is unique.  When you enter my studio, for example, you will see postcards from my travels that I use as inspiration.  I'm not alone in this. Most artists use images in their studios as inspiration!  Just visit any atelier and not only will you see the artists' paintings but you will also see images of the artists they admired. As an American in Paris artist, the city of Paris has clearly been my greatest influence! Nonetheless, the atelier is the artist's private environment that contains  a wealth of inspirational source material for new works of art.
