Our first new work of art is titled "Woman At Sunrise". This particular painting has been chosen because it represents my original style of art after returning from Paris created with big bold lines. Back then people just couldn't understand how this young American was creating works that were both contemporary and yet also looked like they were coming straight out of Paris at the turn of the last century.  Even though I am American, given my time as a bohemian in Paris it made perfect sense to me. Paris is where I first developed my unique style of art. I was creating works of art of French women painted with bold black lines that was in the style French artists. People started calling me the  "American in Paris artist" so I just kept the title and have had it ever since...
