Embracing The Inner Child

An Exhibition of New Works Celebrating the Bold Inner Child

"All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.”
-PICASSO

There's definitely something special about the purity of embracing our inner child. Even after all these years, one thing I still love most about being an artist is the feeling of joy from brushing my wet paint boldly on the surface of a dry canvas and just letting my creative spirit literally create a work of art right before my eyes. With all my senses engaged, for me nothing compares to the magical sensations of being at one with the world experiencing this pure awe, wonder, and bliss!

In my studio there are no critics, no haters online constantly judging, ridiculing, and insulting me and my creative expression, and judging whether my composition, drawing, and perspective are accurate with insults that I'm a terrible artist. In my studio I am just being true to my natural instincts, just letting my creative spirit be totally free without any care to the outside world full of angry haters trolling the Internet with nothing better to do than to criticize me and others... Instead I'm just minding my own business in my studio being happy creating art just for myself. It's not about recognition and fame. The joy I feel from a creative session is its own reward. This is so important yet most artists often forget it... That's why when I'm creating art I have to repeat this important truth as my mantra:

"The joy I feel creating art (in itself) is already the greatest reward!"
