My first exhibition was a group of paintings inspired by my time living as a bohemian in Paris. The exhibition was called "Les Femmes Parisiennes".  The exhibition immediately caught the attention of important collectors from prominent European families, mostly from Germany, France, and Switzerland. Some of my greatest supporters came from members of noble European families. These art collectors are very private, however, and that is why those early works are still kept in private collections in Europe. Wealthy Europeans collectors really do love supporting artists they believe in, but they don't need the investment and rarely sell.
