As I conclude the writing for this exhibition, here's a personal snapshot from my life.  I am enjoying my morning coffee with these Italian cookies with one of my favorite coffee mugs from my Paris-inspired  Art For Coffee collection.  These Italian cookies were made by a family member from the Italian side of my family who spent an entire day baking in her own kitchen to make these beautiful and delicious Italian pastries for me.  So I just want to acknowledge my gratitude for the love that went into making them as a gift, not just to me, but also to have for this exhibition concluding with the theme of coffee and desserts.  Lastly, I would like to thank and acknowledge one more person who I haven't mentioned.  That person is you.

Thanks to You!

I know many of you may just breeze through this exhibition without knowing how much time went into making all these larger-than-life meals from someone who has never even taken a cooking class or stepped foot into culinary arts school.  Honestly, in the beginning of this long journey into the culinary arts I just knew that I loved eating good food but had no idea how to enter the world of culinary art...  Most days I was literally doing it by the seat of my pants.  After making endless mistakes, fortunately I eventually found a quiet and steady rhythm and inner confidence, and even my own sound and solid footing in the culinary arts.  I share this with you not to boast, rather I hope that sharing my life experiences inspires you to realize that you are always capable of more then you think you are!

Being in my kitchen was just the first part, though.  As you can imagine, then I had to constantly photograph and document everything, write about my travels, the stories, and describe each culinary region and its traditions, and finally the meals they inspired in my own kitchen.  I had to organize and eventually design this large online exhibition dedicated to presenting it in a way that was easily digestible and inspirational in a format for you to enjoy online.  Some days I was so excited about what I had learned to create in my kitchen that I downright ate my artistic meals totally forgetting to photograph them until it was too late...  It was so funny to me seeing a beautiful work of culinary art I had created that I could no longer photograph because I had taken a bite out of it!  I just sat there looking at my bite in that day's example of culinary art and then couldn't help laughing at myself for the humor of it all...

So now that we have come to the end of a journey together visiting my favorite cuisines from around the world, visiting Mexico, China, Japan, Italy, Spain, France, and American cuisines from my home here in New England, I hope you can appreciate and have a sense of the whirlwind adventure of this journey and all the work it took to finally put this huge online art exhibition together.  I do hope you enjoyed this unique exhibition especially knowing that I taught myself how to make all my favorite meals inspired by cuisines from around the world and hope you have been inspired to do the same.  If you were inspired by this art exhibition in any way then it was worth all the time and hard work that went into creating "The Art of Cuisine"!  Speaking of art, above you can see a cup of coffee in a mug titled  "Femme Trapeze".   As an artist and designer, this is a friendly reminder that all the Art for Coffee mugs shown in this exhibition are available for purchase.  Below are examples of my some of my personal favorites, but you can choose your own favorite from our large selection. Lastly, if you enjoyed the exhibit, please consider making a small donation or visiting the gift shop in support of the arts and this museum. Your support is greatly appreciated!
