Every artist is unique and they each have a unique process.   For example, being the creative artist that I am, the process for my next painting is starting with the frame.  I'm actually letting the frame be part of the creative process in dictating the particular style of art that I will create as my next painting.  Given the ornate style of the frame, for example, obviously my painting will lean towards the "classical" style.  So right now I'm preparing a large 20x26 painting on board.  I already planned what painting I am going to create; I'm now just working on preparing the surface so that I can draw and create an oil painting on solid ground.  What is the image?  We shall see...  Here's a "hint" though: this painting will be a combination of the classical Italian style from the Renaissance while also embracing my unique and personal style from Paris.  So stay tuned!
