Unlike the hustle and bustle of the metropolis of Rome, Florence is a "Tuscan Town".  It has all the elegance and grandeur of Rome but with a much quieter ambience, as is shown here along the Arno river.   But don't be fooled.  This is no sleepy city.  The city, the capitol of Tuscany, has much to offer in terms of history, art, museums, parks, and cuisine.
