Italian Frittata
The frittata, on the other hand, is more of an egg dish where egg is combined with other ingredients, like vegetables and meats. While the frittata is started on the stove, it is later baked. The Italian frittata is usually much thinner then the Spanish tortilla, but there are many variations of both according to family recipes and preferences.
