"Memoirs of A Geisha" is one of my favorite romantic novels about Japan.  Even though it is a fictional novel based on a true story, one of the reasons I enjoy it because we have such special and unique lives...  So this is my homage to the Japanese Geisha.  My Japanese-inspired design came to me very "organically" in my kitchen.  I made it with fresh Atlantic Salmon from Maine.  Honestly, even though it was delicious, it was so inspiring to me that I could actually create sushi on this level that I didn't want to eat it at first.  So I just took this photograph as my own little "memoir".
