One of the great things about living on the coast of New England is the abundance of fresh seafood. New England fishing boats always bring a variety of fresh seafood from the Atlantic such fish, shrimp, and lobster, and clammers bring mussels, clams, and cohogs to market. That is why fresh seafood is a part of the New England diet.
