Somethings in life are so delicious they are worth repeating, repeating, and repeating... When it comes to sandwiches, my perspective is this: Why eat a baloney sandwich with wonder bread when I can eat another authentic pumpernickel sandwich?

     So here during on a different occasion of making pumpernickel another artisan pumpernickel with a slightly different recipe.  When I'm in my art studio, I love being creative and experimenting with new forms of art.  This is particularly true when I'm in the kitchen.  Notice, for example, that this German pumpernickel artisan loaf is much, much darker and dense.  This particular German pumpernickel is more traditional, rich, and decadent with more traditional ingredients such as I tasted them during my travels to Germany.
