The Tuscan people take pride in their cuisine.  Above are typical scenes you will find not only in Tuscany, but throughout Italy.  Although, each region of Italy has their own local specialties.  For example, here you can see a sign on the store front promoting "Cinghiale" the local specialty of San Gimignano.  Cinghiale is wild boar, a relative of the domesticated pig.  Wild boar dishes can be found throughout Tuscany.
