Inspiration
Post Impressionism
 

Whether I was subconsciously inspired by the works of Lautrec and Gauguin, may be or not.  What is clear, however is that my latest painting is definitely in the style of "post impressionism"!   I'm still painting in my own style within a flat style with bold lines.  I can also see the patterns from my sketchbooks as decor on the walls. My painting is still wet, so I will add the final touches as soon as the first layer of oil dries.  I just wanted to see a comparions to see if my hunch about Lautrec and Gauguin was on point.
