This work-in-progress is the lattest italian inspired painting from my classical training in Florence.  During the painting process I often place the unfinished painting in a frame to see how to best improve it.  ​Classical painting requires many layers and much time.  Before adding new layers of paint, however, I must continue work on new works until the paint on this painting dries.  That said, notice how the work is "evolving" into a new style, one where the color remains strong and pure, yet the painting is more classical in nature than prior to living and studying at the academy in Florence.  I hope you've enjoyed my sharing my lattest "work-in-process" with you.  ​​
