This Roman colosseum in Nimes is one of the most well preserved I've seen.  No trip to Nimes is complete without a paying a visit to this historical treasure that is now also a museum.  Quite impressive!  What I love about European towns is there are always festivals in the towns.  Unfortunately, I forgot to pack my gladiator armor when I was planning my trip to Nimes.  All joking aside, on the next viewing gallery I show an example of a Nimes festival, a reenactments in the arena with the people of Nimes dressed in full regalia paying homage to their roots dating back to their ancestors who were the gladiators of ancient Rome.
