As this exhibition is primarily about drawing, I thought I'd also include this example of a completed painting created as a preliminary sketch on a primed canvas.  As an artist, I love the art of drawing! For this reason this painting is titled "The Art of Drawing".  When I create a work of art I particularly love welcoming the viewer into my world to experience what I see and feel as an artist when they look at my work.

As you can see, here I loved the process sketching on canvas so much that I considered the completed sketch a painting and work of art "just as is".  Notice that with just a few marks in graphite I had already said what I had to say...  So, it is both a completed work of art and one that shows the process of its creation that can be framed as a completed painting to remind the viewer what it feels like to be in my studio as a creative artist.
