"The Mona Lisa"
The Louvre, Paris
Like I said, everyone loves to visit Da Vinci's masterpiece in the Louvre in Paris, but what few people know is that the Mona Lisa took Da Vinci eight years to complete his masterpiece. I took this photo in the Louvre recently because it makes the point of the important standards of quality that has has been set by The Italian School and the City of Florence. The Mona Lisa is a masterpiece for a reason. This renaissance masterpiece, that the world loves so much, took time for Leonardo to create. And lots of it. Eight years. Having a solid foundation matters... This has taught me to be more patient in the way I also create art in my own studio.
