Lemons are like people; each one is so "unique".  Here I am leaning towards realism, but also applying heavy paint to combine realism with my own style of "expressionism".   With each lemon study am also exploring the contrast of this particular lemon with different colored backgrounds.  Here I've chose orange and blue.
