One day I was just outside enjoying having my own intimate solo art exhibit outside with a glass of wine resting on a blanket as I soaked up the sun next to my fountain.  I thought to myself: "Life is Beautiful!"  Ironically, I spend so much time trying to inspire others that I sometimes I forget to inspire myself.  I was thinking about this as I thought about art and inspiration and came up with this as a theme for a show...

So this exhibit is about showing how I practice what I preach in my own life. I decided to create an entire art exhibit showing just simple and completely "uneventful" but yet deeply precious and meaningful moments at home filled with art and inspiration, such as when I was drinking a glass of wine (shown above) with an exhibit for just one. 

     Here, there's no one in the art world I have to please or impress... To me, it's these "precious" little moments in life that really matter the most to me!   This is so meaningful to me, so I thought I'd share this great wisdom and my artist perspective about life in this exhibit.  So, yes, this exhibit is much about nothing, and yet it is also about everything that really matters in life, at least to me!  So I hope this "Toast to Life" exhibition inspires you to take time for yourself to appreciate the joy and beauty in your own life.
