"My Family Specialty" 

Half of my family is Italian so there's always Italian music playing in my house as food is being made...  This manicotti, for example, is a family specialty.  Here it is served with Italian sausage and meatballs and was just prepared by a family member, so I am including this traditional Italian dish in this section on Italian cuisine. Manicotti translates as "cooked hands" in Italian!  The fingers/hand-shaped pasta is stuffed with ricotta cheese.
