Chicken Paella
Here is an example of chicken paella (considered the country version of Spain's national dish), called Paella Valenciana. Most Spaniards associate this dish with the Spanish region of Valencia, hence the name. This version of paella is made with rice, chicken, vegetables (usually peas or green beans), and the spice saffron, which lends the yellow color.
