Artisan "Meatlovers" Pizza
Roast Pork Pizza
It is said that "creativity is the mother of skill." In that spirit, the pandemic has allowed me to take my artisan pizza making to another level of creativity. For example, I've been cooking roasts. But afterwards I have to come up with creative ways to make new dishes with the pork leftovers. So this Roast Pork Pizza was created from the extra pork from a porchetta, a pork shoulder that was cooked with Tuscan herbs and garlic. The roast pork leftovers make very rich and hearty meals, and now one of my favorites is this version of artisan pizza that combines the herbed pork with cheese and bell peppers and gets roasted to a golden finish.
