A Slice of Spain
Here we have a slice of a Spanish tortilla, and it is like a slice of Spain. Spanish cuisine enjoys using "jamon" (ham). The Spanish also love "salchicha", which is cured pork sausage. Here you can see the pork sausage bursting out of this slice of Spanish tortilla. I whipped this up in a few minutes for breakfast! In addition to having the potatoes, eggs, and sausage, I'm also giving a nod to my Mexican mother by topping it with a green scallion from my garden and a slice of a red chili on top for color, elegance, and panache.
