Traditional homemade Italian Pasta Sauce 

 

In contrast to the uncooked fresh "freddo" tomato sauce previously shown, here's an example of my homemade Italian cooked tomato sauce with a flower made with cherry tomatoes and basil from the garden.  Italy has countless shapes of pasta.  This dish is served on a bed of penne with grated Pecorino Romano cheese .   Delicious!
