Unlike the bustling of fast paced metropolitan Italian cities, the lifestyle in the serene region of Tuscany is much more relaxed and grounded in the earth.  Time seems to stop as we value just enjoying life eating good food with family and friends.  The slow paced serenity of the Tuscan kitchen also translates into its wholesome "homestyle"  and delicious cuisine.   

 

During a day trip , I was fascinated by the golden colors of the Tuscan landscape that came from fields of small golden flowers.  I had never seen an landscape so brilliantly lit.  So I spent time picking these golden flowers to display in my Tuscan kitchen alongside the artisan bread I got in a local village.
