Dr. Barnes was an innovative and enigmatic collector whose French-inspired collection of paintings has been a great inspiration to me and in my own work as a collector and artist.  I would like to thank Dr. Barnes and the Barnes Museum for being such a great inspiration to me in my decision in buying this beautiful property as the site for my home, art museum, and private sanctuary for art & inspiration.  I have been expanding my gardens with museum statues and bronze fountains on the grounds of the museum and sanctuary (as seen looking out from the American in Paris Gallery). Thanks to Dr. Barnes, Zermeno Museum's online exhibitions are now inspiring art lovers around the globe.  I hope you enjoyed this small tribute to Dr. Barnes.
