It is now time to transition to the theme of "Expressive Works on Paper".  These works relate mostly to the theme of music and dance, which is befitting of the music festival in Nimes.  These drawings are much more fun, expressive, whimsical, and light-hearted. 

 

This drawing that has a classical theme and is also "expressive" is a transition.  I've been using this classical bronze in my home as a study for oil painting.  However, because I am a  Expressionist at heart, my imagination often gets the best of me.... While I was drawing I imagined this bronze Adonis having wings and coming down from the heavens from the Age of the Gods. That's why I took the creative liberty of adding wings from my imagination.  Notice that I created the wings in a much more "expressive" manner.
