The Nude as Inspiration to a "work-in-progress"!

The Creative Process...

Here we can see that the pose of the nude figurine has inspired me to create a work-in-progress!  Notice that the sketch has already been placed into a frame.  I do this to study the composition and determine what the final painting will look like.  For me, the frame also serves another more important purpose:  The frame prevents my inner critic from judging the creative spirit too harshly before I have had a chance express myself.  Too much criticism at the start of a work of art immediately kills all creativity!  I literally paint in the frame.   That's why my frames often have paint on them... But the frame allows me to protect the creative process to ensure the painting gets completed.
